Our Doctor:
Dr. Yarnevich pursued his pre-medical education at Kent State University and Youngstown State University. He then attended The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his surgical residency at The Foot Clinic of Youngstown. In 1971, he entered into private practice, establishing the Foot and Ankle Center in Canton, Ohio.
He successfully completed examinations to be:
  • Associate in the American College of Foot Surgeons
  • Certified in the American Academy of Pain Management
  • Fellow and Certified in the College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics
  • Certified in the American Podiatric Medical Specialties Medical and Surgical
  
Dr. Yarnevich has held a number of prominent positions in medical associations and hospitals. He is involved with a host of civic organizations and is active in many medical specialty organizations, including:
  • American and Ohio Podiatric Medical Associations
  • American College of Foot Surgeons
  • American Academy of Microsurgery
  • American College of Conscious Sedation
  • American Association of Hospital Podiatrist
 
Dr.Yarnevich was the first initating Podiatrist in the Canton area to be granted hospital staff privileges at:  
  • Mercy Medical Center
  • Massillon Community Hospital
  • Aultman Same Day Surgery Center.
  

And, he is also the only Canton area Podiatrist on the specialty staff at Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orville, Ohio.

He is actively involved in developing new treatments for diabetic patients and is presently on the Medical Advisory Board of the American Diabetes Association and American Heart Association.
     
Dr. Yarnevich is available to speak to community groups on various foot heath topics.
