Dr. Yarnevich pursued his pre-medical education at Kent State University and Youngstown State University. He then attended The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his surgical residency at The Foot Clinic of Youngstown. In 1971, he entered into private practice, establishing the Foot and Ankle Center in Canton, Ohio.

He successfully completed examinations to be:
Certified in the American Podiatric Medical Specialties Medical and Surgical
Fellow and Certified in the College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics
Certified in the American Academy of Pain Management
Associate in the American College of Foot Surgeons

Dr. Yarnevich holds a number of prominent positions with medical associations and hospitals. He is involved with a host of civic organizations and is active in many medical specialty organizations, including:

American College of Conscious Sedation
American Association of Hospital Podiatrist

Dr. Yarnevich successfully led the local initiative to have hospitals afford staff privileges to podiatrists and was the first to earn this status at these healthcare facilities:

Aultman Same Day Surgery Center
